The formation of the Neoproterozoic Wadi Dabr Intrusive Complex (WDIC) during the collision between East and West Gondwanda resulted in the intimate mixing of different magma types.  This project aims to use isotopes, element chemistry, and geochronology to determine the age and chemical evolution of the EWIC in order to unravel the petrogenesis of these gabbro/diorites and granodiorites, and understand the complex interplay between magma genesis and crustal contamination.
